Bought as a replacement for a vocolinc that I claimed and the store refunded my money. I think it was more of a step backwards. It disconnected from Wi-Fi very often and one day it disconnected completely and could not connect anymore. Interestingly, I connected it to a separate router that has a different IP range and it works there for now but then it doesn't work with HomeKit again (because it's connected to a different network), so I lost the ability to save to iCloud. The Eufy app has better video quality but the rest is worse. Until FW fixes disconnecting/disconnecting from Wi-Fi I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Overall a good camera for the money. The features as such are good, but for me it could have been pushed a bit further. As for my cons, I'm not sure if they are adequate like this or if I just don't know how to set it up properly, but I've searched the forums as well and haven't found an answer. The lack of privacy mode is a big drawback for me and I thought the camera would be able to do that. My idea was that the camera would know I was at home by the smart phone and I could choose not to record and hide the camera lens in a blind spot. It can be bypassed by a smart plug and disconnecting from the "juice", but the camera does not turn to the blind spot and thus for a paranoid wife it is not a sufficient solution.: -D: -D

I have the opportunity to compare with another cheaper but also much more expensive camera for homekit, both of them went away after a while. This one wins on functionality. To connect to Apple homekit, you must first update the camera via the eufy app. After connecting it to the homekit, it is possible to control the camera via the eufy application, but it is also possible to disable the use in this application and it will be controlled by the pure settings in the homekit. Quickly establishes connection The image quality is a bit better in the eufy application, rather than the resolution it is given by the bitrate, when it is limited via homekit. Maybe Apple will do something about it eventually.

What annoyed me the most was that it doesn't pair with HomeBas 2. It only works with 3. I absolutely don't understand why, since HomeBas is mainly a storage device. So I still had to get an SD card. I cannot activate and deactivate all cameras with one click. In the app, I deactivate the outdoor cameras paired with HomeBas2 and then deactivate the indoor camera with the second command. Plus, it bothers me that if I have the mode disabled and the camera set to track the target, it keeps turning behind me. It is deactivated and not recording. I have to turn it off hard. The app itself has been a pain in the ass for the last year. When I'm out, it takes forever to connect. I don't know if it's the Chinese servers or what, but man, he lost the readiness to see what's going on around the house within 30 seconds of the notification.
