The coffin traveled with us all the way to Sardinia and survived the salt, the sun, the heat, the sand, the rain. So I would sum it up as a bargain. The only negative thing is the locking method and the overall opening mechanism, but otherwise everything is OK.

I have it on my car year-round. 4 times mountains in winter. in summer every weekend cottage and trips. so I don't even take it off. it's my first box and for me TOP!!
I was also afraid of the softer material but unnecessarily. works perfectly and is not audible even at 140 km/h.

it is fixed to the beams by screws, it is enough to pull by hand, it looks much stronger than e.g. THULE which is more practical for assembly/disassembly, but I don't believe it holds as tightly as this
hardness of the material - when opening it's quite wobbly, I can't compare how it is at much higher price categories, maybe it's just the dimensions

spacious, and at a very nice price. But I can't compare it to anything else because this is my first box. A lot of people said the boxes were noisy, but my wife didn't notice and I didn't mind. so for me, I'm happy. Otherwise, I have flown 1000km with it so far without any problems.
I think I'm a little scared of the plastic hinges. I don't know how long they'll last.
