I find the sound of the actual soundbar balanced and the three preset "equalizers" have no effect on it, only on the subwoofer. These three equalizers adjust the subwoofer mode (volume) from minimum, to medium, to maximum. Something different to suit every ear. In my case, the maximum setting was overbassed, at the medium setting my bass tones were unnatural to the sound from the soundbar, and at the minimum setting the subwoofer was almost inaudible. So I missed setting something between 1-2.
Furthermore, in quiet passages or when the volume was set to the minimum, a whistling sound could be heard from the subwoofer speaker.
As for the volume adjustment especially if the source signal was stronger, the steps are too coarse at low volume settings.
I had the signal to the soundbar fed only via HDMI from the Panasonic TV and the volume of the soundbar could be easily controlled with the TV remote.
Volume and off/on can be controlled with the TV remote
Pairing with the subwoofer is seamless
At lower volume, the subwoofer whistling interferes
The preset equalizer offers too much or too little bass. Nothing in between.

This is not a product I purchased at all. My item was a GoGenn TAS 950 and its sound is absolutely great. 140 W RMS will absolutely sound a room of 50 m2.

I didn't expect any powerful hifi. After installation in the glass pergola (15 m2) things started to happen, sound like at a concert, via BT from the phone Spotify super. The sound from the TV was a bit weaker, but I was also surprised by the clarity of the sound. I recommend connecting ARC HDMI cable or Opto. I am satisfied
