Although the manufacturers of most of the MB for 11 and 12 generation Intel do not specify such a high MHz Ram frequency. Still, Ram works on them and probably with a higher frequency !
Some buy Ram with low frequency because Intel CPU supports it, which is not critical. Depends on what the Bios finally approves !
