Improved combat system compared to the seventh episode (I really like that Kiryu and Ichiban don't act the same gameplay-wise)
Excellent story and even more side activities.
Breathtaking OST again.
Improved "photo mode" (However, you still can't play with photos that much).
Much slower and more tedious grinding.
The map is a bit too big and "stretched" for my taste.
Although cars were not ruining my life anymore, that role, unfortunately, was replaced by boats: (
