If it worked, it would be a nice addition to the laptop.
The product gets very hot during operation until it overheats and stops working. In doing so, it thermally destroyed (baked) my SSD for 1500, - CZK. I'm filing a complaint.

The products comply with CE guidelines and should therefore not lead to any problems, obviously in this case it was a defective product. The products meet CE guidelines and should therefore not lead to any issues as well as limiting the speed of the SSD itself. Do you have the disk formatted to the correct system? Have you tried connecting the disk differently to see if the problem is in the disk? The product is made of recycled aluminium. I was buying mainly for the SSD drive. It didn't find a 4TB drive, it didn't even find a 2TB drive. I don't know how big it reads discs, there's nothing written anywhere, but I thought for that kind of money it should read all capacities.
I'm going back.
