Lots of pockets indeed.
Hidden pockets for valuables.
Back pocket for cards and smaller items that can be reached even with a backpack on.
The thick, soft walls of the backpack hold their shape well and look like they will handle and cushion a minor impact.
Spacious.
A separate compartment for a laptop and its accessories.
But the back pocket is not padded like some other backpacks, so nothing can get into it that would put pressure on the back.
