If your bitch is pregnant, or if she has just given birth, it is important that she and her puppies have the right nutrition to keep the bitch healthy and give the puppies the best possible start in life. This food is suitable for adult dogs weighing from 11 to 25 kg. Give it from the 42nd day of pregnancy and during lactation. It is also suitable for weaned puppies from 2 months.

Feed composition ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog is designed to satisfy all the nutritional needs of your bitch and her puppies. The ' Start Complex' is the result of ROYAL CANIN®' s relentless research: It is an exclusive combination of nutritional elements found in breast milk. These elements are strengthened by specific nutrients that actively contribute to the support of healthy digestion of puppies. It also supports the puppies' natural defenses when their immune systems are just beginning to develop. The nutritional profile of the feed is adjusted to meet the high energy needs of your bitch at the end of pregnancy and during lactation. Immediately after giving birth, your bitch will need a high energy intake to maintain her strength. When mixing ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Starter Mother & feed granules Babydog with water, they are easily rehydrated to a porridge, which is very tasty for your bitch and her puppies. The texture of these granules is ideal for weaned puppies that switch from breast milk to solid food.
