Overview of Payment Methods
We offer a number of ways for you to pay for your purchases. Choose the one that suits you best.
The most common payment methods
By card or cash in store
We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Diners Club. You can pay by card at all our stores, AlzaBoxes and AlzaExpress. If paying by cash, we only accept Czech crowns.

You can pay online with a card that is enabled for use on the internet. Transactions are encrypted and secure. Cards used for online payments must be issued in the EU.
When making an online payment, you can choose whether or not to save your card details. If you choose to save them, you will not need to re-enter your payment information every time you make a purchase.
You will be charged a non-refundable fee upon Business Card payment, in maximum amount of direct costs that have been created for Alza in connection to the payment using this type of card. Exact fee is displayed after selecting Business Card payment method, before the actual payment takes place. To pay without any fees please use standard card or any other payment method.
You can change card details, and remove or add new cards, at any time in your account settings.
Cash on delivery
You will pay the carrier upon delivery, directly at the address you specify.
AlzaExpres only accepts credit cards.
External carriers allow payment by credit card and cash on delivery, however, we cannot guarantee the option of payment by credit card for all external carriers due to the availability of couriers in a given location or temporary technical complications.

Google Pay is a service that provides a quick and easy way to make contactless payments like with a regular payment card. To use this payment method, you must have your payment card saved in the Google Store app, your Google Account or Chrome.
Bitcoin
Fast payment by cryptocurrency. You will be redirected to a secure gateway for payment. In the case that you need to return the goods, the purchase price will be refunded in Czech crowns to the amount stated on the invoice. It is not possible to return the purchase price in cryptocurrency. We currently do not allow payment by combining multiple cryptocurrencies, but you can make part-payments from your account using cryptocurrency.

You may also pay for your order with vouchers (physical or electronic) purchased at Alza.cz. To apply a voucher or gift card, please enter the discount code in the first step of checkout.
Conditions of use:
- The value stated on the voucher will be deducted from the purchase price in the online shop at www.alza.cz.
- Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. The voucher cannot be changed. The entire value of the voucher must be used during one purchase.
- For goods that have been purchased with a gift voucher, you may be refunded (in the event of a withdrawal from the purchase contract or in the case of a legitimate claim) by means of a replacement gift voucher or with credit for the purchase of another item.
- The voucher is valid for one year from the purchase. After the expiration of this period, the voucher becomes invalid.
- By purchasing the voucher, you agree to the terms of the voucher.
- Purchase of goods is governed by the applicable Business Terms and Conditions of Compliance of Alza.cz a.s.
- In case of loss, the voucher can not be redeemed in any way.
If you receive a gift voucher from Alza.cz as a gift, the instructions for use are identical. However, specific conditions may be given in the terms of the marketing offer.

After completing an order, the products are reserved and you will be sent an email with the necessary payment information, including a variable symbol that you must include when making your paying.
When paying by bank transfer, it is necessary to allow for a longer time (usually 1-3 working days) for the payment to reach our account. For this reason, we recommend making payments online instead.
As soon as the payment is credited to our account, we will start processing your order.
We will send you notifications about the status of your order to the email address you provide. You can also check the status of your order by logging into your My Alza account.
QR code
Pay for orders quickly and easily by using a mobile banking app. You no longer have to fill in your account number, variable symbol, etc. Just take a picture of the QR code on your smartphone and the payment order will be filled in automatically.

For businesses who have made purchases in the last 3 calendar months totalling at least
2000 €, we offer the possibility of paying by invoice. Contact us at [email protected].
For state institutions, large companies and corporate companiesafter submitting an order that has the following particulars:
- Complete customer and supplier billing information
- Delivery address and final consignee
- Means of takeover/delivery
- Bank details and payment conditions
- List of ordered goods and their approximate price
- Contact person, phone (fax, email)
- Company seal and signature of the appropriate person
it is possible to ask for an assessment of the purchase of goods on an invoice with maturity.
It is necessary to deliver the original order (by post or in person).
To speed up, we prefer to send a copy of your order electronically (by email or fax).
Refunding money - the most common ways to pay
If you withdraw from the contract within the statutory 14-days, as part of a claims procedure, or we agree to refund you for any other reason, we will return the amount paid in the same way that you paid for the goods. See the examples given below.
Cash
When paying in cash at a branch or in the case of cash on delivery, we will refund your money at any of our stores.
Card/bank transfer
If you paid by card, we will return your money to the connected bank account.
If you paid by bank transfer, we will return your money to your bank account.
We will only return the amount of money that we received from you (we will not return any bank costs incurred)
Cryptocurrency
Under our terms and conditions, if you paid by cryptocurrency (e.g. Bitcoin or Litecoin), you will be refunded in the currency specified on the invoice for the goods purchased (usually Czech crowns). You will receive the amount of money stated on the invoice.
In this case, you will receive the refund as Alza Credit.
Refunds - other payment methods
For all other forms of payment (e.g. Alza Credit, PayPal, etc.), the purchase price will be returned to you through the same method you used when paying for the goods.
