Bývalá šéfka SEC zastupuje Ripple v súdnom spore

Fintechová spoločnosť Ripple, ktorá spravuje token XRP, bola v máji zažalovaná jedným z držiteľov tokenu Ryanom Cofffeym pre údajný neregistrovaný predaj investičných nástrojov (tokenov XRP). Teraz boli zverejnené súdne dokumenty, ktoré odhaľujú, kto bude Ripple na súde zastupovať. Ide najmä o dvoch bývalých zamestnancov amerického finančného regulátora Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Jedným z nich je dokonca bývalá šéfka úradu, Mary Jo White.

Finálne slovo ohľadom toho, či sú tokeny XRP investičné nástroje (a podliehajú tým pádom plnej regulácii), bude mať práve úrad SEC.
