What should I do before you arrive?

Check the dimensions

Before you make your order, double-check the dimensions of the appliance and the width of your doors, corridors, etc., so that the delivery crew can get your appliance in safely.

Wait for the text message

AlzaExpres will send you a text message on the day of delivery with information on when the goods will be delivered.

The crew will contact you

Once the AlzaExpres crew is on its way, they will contact you by phone.

Clear the way

Remove anything that could obstruct the path to the target location.

Cover the floor

If you have a wooden floor, we recommend covering it with cardboard to prevent any potential damage.

Check the packaging

FAQ

I live on the 12th floor. Are you really going to deliver my appliance to my apartment?

Yes. Our two-man crew will carry the appliance all the way to your apartment and place it where you need it (applies to delivery to a single apartment or commercial space).

Is it possible you won’t be able to deliver the goods behind the first lockable door?

As part of this service, we will do everything we can to ensure that your goods are delivered. However, there may be exceptional cases in which this is not possible. For example, steep or narrow stairs leading to the first lockable door, unpaved (muddy) road, slippery terrain, etc.

Does the service apply to products from external warehouses?

Unfortunately, not yet. For products shipped from external warehouses of our partners, we are unable to offer the shipping options and follow-up services listed here.

Is delivery with AlzaExpres Complet safe?

Yes, safety is paramount for us. We follow the current sanitary measures as mandated by the government, the Ministry of Health, the regional sanitary stations and the common sense.

Our staff wear protective gloves and respirators throughout the entire appliance removal and installation process. Every day, we also disinfect all our vehicles and, if necessary, use ozonation.

What should I do if I am not satisfied with the service?

We strive to provide the best service possible, but we understand that there may still be grounds for submitting a claim. Did you discover the parcel was damaged after you had collected it and the carrier had already left? Are you unhappy with the installation of the appliance or the behaviour of our staff? In this case, please contact us via the contact form or our call centre.

Installing freestanding electrical appliances

What does the service include?

  • The crew will unpack the appliance and take the packaging material straight away. Just have the water, energy and waste connections ready.
  • This service is provided only for freestanding electrical appliances (washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, TVs, etc.).
  • With a built-in appliance, the crew will "only" unpack the appliance and take away the packaging material. If you wish to install a built-in appliance, you need to order the additional Built-in Appliance Installation service.

Before the driver arrives and the installation, make sure that:

  • You have the utility connections (electricity, water) and waste water connection ready.
  • The connections are compatible with the purchased appliance.
  • The purchased appliance will fit in the designated place.
  • Placing the dryer and washing machine on top of each other is only possible if you have an original connection part, where no drilling is required. Otherwise, the aplliances won't be stacked.
 

Removing old appliances

What does the service include?

  • If you request it, our crew will take away your used appliance (valid for all types of delivery).

Before the driver arrives and the installation, make sure that:

  • The old appliance is properly disconnected, clean and complete.
  • In case of washing machines, dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators or freezers, makes sure they are also dry and de-iced.
  • There must be no water in the appliance.
 

Delivery insurance

What does the service include?

  • In case your order gets damaged during delivery, we will deal with your claim promptly. Within 24 hours at the latest, you will be contacted by our customer service operator and together you will work everything out.
 

Installing a built-in oven/microwave

We're committed to making it as easy as possible for you to get your new built-in oven (or built-in microwave). That's why we try to deliver and install your new appliance at the same time. You can look forward to a pleasant and helpful crew who will do a good job and clean up after themselves.

  • If the kitchen skirting board needs to be removed, we will remove it and then return everything to its original state after installing the appliance.
  • Switch on your new appliance to check that it's working as intended. Then set the time.

  • Cut out an appropriately sized hole for the cooktop.
  • Provide access to the circuit breakers in the flat / house.
  • Get a sufficiently long three-phase power supply cable to connect to the cooktop.

How is the installation carried out?

  • We turn off the cooktop electric circuit at the circuit breaker.
  • Uninstall your old appliance and allow you to clean the hard-to-reach nooks and crannies.
  • Unpack and inspect your new appliance to make sure everything is in order.
  • We connect your new cooktop and place it in the hole in the kitchen countertop.
  • Switch on the appliance and check that all the hotplates and cooking zones are working as they should.
  • The crew will go over the handover protocol with you. In it, you will agree together on all the tasks that have been carried out during the installation.

Installing a TV on the wall

What do I need to do before you arrive?

  • The mount does not come supplied with your TV and must be ordered separately (for this reason, we contact customers the day before delivery to confirm that the mount bracket will be available). We cannot install your TV on the wall without a compatible mount bracket.

How is the installation carried out?

  • We unpack the TV and you tell us where exactly do you want to have your TV installed.
  • We shall use a detector to verify that it's safe to drill into the wall in that particular spot.
  • Then we choose the appropriate anchoring means (dowels, etc.) for your wall material.
  • We carefully measure everything, drill the holes, and install the mount bracket.
  • We inform you what your mount bracket can or cannot do and install the TV.
  • Connect the TV to the mains and then to the antenna or Wi-Fi network.
  • Perform the standard TV setup and familiarise you with the basic functions your TV offers.
  • The crew will go over the handover protocol with you. In it, you will agree together on all the tasks that have been carried out during the installation.
  • You get to keep the packaging material for at least 14 days (in case you decide to return the TV).
