Bullet camera is a type of IP camera that is characterized by its long and cylindrical shape resembling the shape of a bullet or shell, hence the name "bullet". This design is optimized for outdoor use due to its rugged construction. Often these cameras are equipped with protective elements that enable them to withstand adverse weather conditions. They are ideal for permanent monitoring of specific areas such as driveways, parking lots or yards. It is also often equipped with an IR illuminator that is used in night vision mode and a sun visor. The lens is fixed and the camera cannot be rotated even remotely.
