A composite interface is an older type of video connector that combines audio and video signals into a single cable. Typically a yellow RCA connector is used for video and red and white for stereo audio. Although the composite interface does not offer as high a picture quality as more modern interfaces, it can still be found on older equipment or for specific applications where the picture quality requirements are not high.
