High-speed material

High-speed material refers to a type of filament, i.e. plastic 3D printing string, that is specifically developed for printers capable of operating at high speeds. Conventional filament does not melt fast enough in the print head and flow smoothly through the nozzle when printing at high speeds, resulting in insufficient material extrusion and poor quality prints. High-speed materials have a modified composition that gives them faster fusing and lower viscosity, a measure of the internal friction of the fluid. Simply put, they "flow" better in their molten state, allowing the printer to extrude them in greater volume in less time. At the same time, these filaments are designed to solidify quickly and hold their shape once applied to the print. This prevents deformations that would otherwise occur when the print head moves quickly. The use of such material allows to significantly reduce the printing time while maintaining good quality and detail of the final object.
