I-TTL (Intelligent Through The Lens) is an automatic flash exposure control system that combines data from multiple sources to achieve optimal exposure. In addition to measuring light intensity through the lens, this system also uses distance information from the subject and pre-flash data to more accurately adjust the power of the main flash.
