Powered via USB

USB, or Universal Serial Bus, is a standard interface for car cameras, most commonly serving two purposes: powering the camera and transferring data. For power, the camera is connected via a cable to an adapter in the car socket, which provides it with energy for operation and recording. For data transfer, the USB connector allows you to connect the camera directly to a computer. This way, recorded footage and photos can be downloaded without having to remove the memory card. With car cameras, you may encounter several types of connectors. Older models often use Mini USB or Micro USB. More modern cameras are equipped with a USB-C connector, whose main advantage is its reversibility, allowing you to plug the cable in correctly on the first attempt.
