Japonská spoločnosť vyrába 7nm bitcoin ASIC miner

Japonská spoločnosť GMO Internet Group vydala tlačovú správu, v ktorej oznamuje začiatok výroby nového ťažobného zariadenia typu ASIC pre ťažbu bitcoinu. Plné detaily GMO miner B2 majú byť publikované 6. júna a má ísť o prvé zariadenie postavené na 7nm architektúre. Doteraz najvýkonnejší ASIC miner od firmy Bitmain – Antminer S9 – je postavený na 10nm architektúre.

Nová architektúra by mala zabezpečiť výrazne vyšší výkon pri nižšej elektrickej spotrebe.

Prvé závozy firma plánuje vybaviť v októbri tohto roka.
