Last fall, Samsung introduced the new Galaxy Note 8, but there are two questions that are on everyone’s minds. 1. Did they fix the problem with the batteries? 2. How does it compare to the new Galaxy S8 and S8+?
Luxurious! Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will more than likely have all of the best features from the beautiful Galaxy S8 +, including the infinity display. The infinity display is a feature that really separates the Samsung brand apart from the competition. In addition, the Note 8 features a large 6.2" panel with 4K resolution, which makes it a great choice for the ultimate Gear VR virtual reality experience. In order to extend battery life, users will be able to reduce the resolution when not using VR.
We are hoping that Samsung will fix the problem with the fingerprint reader location. It is currently on the back of the Galaxy S8+. Rumors are that it will be integrated into the bottom of the front display. This is a very similar solution that is also being anticipated in the new iPhone 8.

Stylus |
Phones from the Samsung Galaxy Note series are renowned for the S Pen, which significantly enhances the functions of the phone. It offers a variety of operating modes and makes operating the phone even easier. The new S Pen will also recognise how much pressure is being used.
Another interesting feature about the S Pen is that the end of the stylus will have a small built-in speaker. We are still not quite sure what it will be used for, but there are many different notification sounds that might come in handy. For example, if you lose the S Pen, a notifcation sound will help you easily find it. Furthermore, we are sure that Samsung will somehow incorporate the use of their new voice assistant, Bixby (which can share your current location, find items on the internet using photoes, etc), into the functionality of this speaker.
Hardware and Operating System
At the end of March, Google introduced a new version of the Android operating system. The first Developer Preview was called Android O, and it is quite possible that the Note 8 has already received the final version.
As far as hardware goes, Samsung will likely use the same octa-core processor Exynos 8895 that is used in the Samsung Galaxy S8, but the Note 8 will have more operating memory (at least 6GB RAM for sure). Moreover, due to the ever-increasing data and application demands, there may be the possibility of up to 128GB of internal memory and up to 2TB external memory card expansion.
Many people simply want to know if these phone’s batteries will succumb to the same issues as the Note 7’s, and to be perfectly honest, we don’t know if that will be the case or not. However, we’d be surprised if they did catch fire — Samsung has put a lot of time, money, and effort into making sure the S8’s battery is safe, and will more than likely do the same for the Note 8. The expected capacity of the Note 8's battery is around 3,500 mAh, and the S pen will still be stored in the body of the phone. We should know more about this in the coming months.
Does the Note 8 come with a dual camera?
Both new Galaxy S8 phones have practically the best camera on the market, and we believe that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will offer two variants. Our first guess, and perhaps the most likely, is that the Note 8 exact same camera as the S8 series. This means a Dual Pixel sensor with high-quality optics and an aperture of f/1.7. The second possibility is that it will have an attractive dual sensor, similar to the iPhone 7 Plus.
We expect the Galaxy Note 8 will be released this Fall. It is widely expected in October or November.
When released, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will probably be the most powerful smart phone
market and the only one with a stylus as unique as the S pen.
