The picture is nothing special, but it's fine for office work. The main problem is poor viewing angles. But I returned the monitor because with one laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 16IAU7) the USB-C connection did not work, it only charged. Both charging and image transfer worked with the Acer Spin 5. I bought a Samsung ViewFinity S60UA instead, and it's better in every way, just without speakers.

The monitor has its pluses and minuses. In its price category it is probably a decent piece. The colour rendering can be fine-tuned with a little effort; ghosting can also be improved a bit; and all sorts of features that are detrimental to image quality can be ignored. What cannot be ignored, however, are the poor viewing angles, which are uncomfortable for work, for example.
Relatively uniform backlight - minimal backlight bleeding. (I consider this a big plus. )
Probably a decent colour rendering for its price range. (But only when using and tuning your own image settings! See cons. )
Very good connectivity: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, USB-C (DP alt mode).
A single dead pixel. (Which I guess is an achievement in this price range. )
Simple and minimalist design. Flat and very thin display base.
Poor viewing angles. (Utter misery even compared to my 11 year old cheap VA panel. ) Even at a sufficient distance from the monitor, the edges of the image are slightly grey. For work and eyestrain, this is pretty much nothing.
Average ghosting. (Absolutely identical to my 11 year old cheap VA panel. I guess technology hasn't advanced much in that time. ) The option to set Overdrive will only help slightly.
Colour rendering usable only in custom user mode and after careful tuning of multiple monitor settings. (Outside of the actual settings, the colors on the monitor are tragic. )
All would-be image and color enhancement features like HDR, DCB, DCR are unusable here. (All HDR modes will change the colors completely out of sync. The DCB for color recovery is oversaturated and produces artifacts in many places. The DCR mode changes the brightness of the entire screen very slowly and clumsily, making dark scenes too dark and bright scenes too bright. ) Then the same goes for the preset game modes - they all change colors all over the place. And the Clear Vision image sharpening feature is overkill even in the weakest settings.
