There is not much competition in this category, so there is not much to choose from. Compared to smaller desktop monitors, this one lags behind in functionality.
No defective pixels
Nice colours
It is not curved at the edges, only in the middle two thirds. I look at the edges from a higher viewing angle, which makes the edges seem significantly lower in brightness.
It's very warm, I feel like I'm in a sauna.
After falling asleep it does not remember the brightness setting, it always resets the brightness back to the value set manually via OSD. This happens when I adjust the brightness using a program on my computer. With other monitors (e.g. LG 29UB67) the brightness adjustment from the reader works without a problem.

Locally turns off the backlight in the black parts of the monitor, this works very well for movies and series that have aspect ratios of 21:9 and 16:9, black bars remain without backlight, so even at night does not disturb and improve the feeling of a quality display
120Hz in combination with all the positives is enough even for demanding gamers
Some games need a "hack" to accept this aspect ratio, but this is a downside of games (e.g. Sekiro), on the other hand other titles offer direct support and even older titles will "absorb" this resolution. However, some games do not expand the field of view and "add content", but only stretch to the sides, in which case it is better to play in a window or 2560x1440 and leave black bars on the sides
Higher pixel count means more demands on the PC, keep in mind that it has almost the same amount of pixels as 4K
I'd appreciate a full G-sync alternative using Free-sync, the display port of the cable on nvidia trafics allows you to turn on "g-sync" but it's a poor substitute and often causes flickering, but better than teating or input lag with V-sync on in games. Therefore ALWAYS USE DISPLAYPORT because HDMI will not allow you to enable Free sync/g-sync
