Basic parameters for couch use (PC in TV): range + the ability of the mouse to run over anything. Both accomplished. I can go into the other room and run my mouse around. in the belly, and it'll still work. Some report worse and noisier key operation, as well as a condition where it is reportedly difficult to wake the mouse from sleep. Neither claim is based on fact. Batteries are included. At that price, it has no rival with similar selection criteria.
Only minor complaint: neither the mouse nor the keyboard has an off button to turn off and therefore not draw power from the batteries. Can be solved by disconnecting from the usb port if the pc is available.
