doesn't have as many buttons as competing phones, so seniors won't be unnecessarily confused
to call speed dial, you need to press the button first and then pick up the handset, which will be very confusing for a senior citizen. They've been used to picking up the receiver first and then pressing the buttons
The phone has 10 ringtones, but none of them is a classic "ring" tone, so you can e.g. My 85 year old grandmother, who will be ringing the doorbell at home, will think it's just a tune from the radio or TV
