After less than 5 months of owning these headphones, I took them out of this packaging for a warranty claim and I couldn't stop wondering. I had my headphones in it all the time and never took the box out. The whole circumference is sort of abraded resp. worn out. And in general, Apple's charging headphone cases have no scratch protection and don't last very long. Plus the white paint. But to have the surface of the box damaged by the rubber sleeve that is designed to protect it? Quite a paradox. 🙃 I assume that because the case does not have good quality workmanship, dust got between it and the headphone box and the subsequent movement rubbed the case.

Good packaging for the AirPods box, decent colour. You just have to say goodbye to the wireless charging box because of the added thickness and silicone "hinge".
