A relatively small charger for its power. It has a boost converter, so it can boost from 12V car battery to 20V on USB-C and can charge more powerful devices such as laptops and tablets with up to 60W. On the old USB connector it then adds about 10W (separately probably a bit more).

This device has an excessively strong spring, which can result in the entire device being pushed out of the socket and subsequent interruption of charging. This situation is particularly relevant for older, lower-end VW Group models that have a socket near the gear lever. It is fascinating that no one from Alza has thought to check whether this device works with most Škoda car models in the Czech Republic, or if they have noticed the shortage but decided to launch the device anyway.
