I bought about a year ago. One USB-B cable leads from the back to the PC and the other to the laptop docking station. I have a mouse dongle and a wired keyboard attached to the front. The interface is USB 2.0. On the top of the box there is a button and 2 weak diodes. It is easy to use. I press the button and either the signal from the peripherals goes to the PC or laptop. It cannot be switched off completely and you cannot use both terminals at the same time.
If I turn off both computers, KVM does not logically power up when I turn on one device, by default it sends to the left output, even if the computer I want to use is not on that side. There is a slight whistling sound at night. I solved it by turning off the USB power when the computer is off.
After a year, it still works as it should
After switching off both input PCs and then switching on, it does not remember the last settings

As someone mentioned here, it happens that the mouse randomly crashes for a few seconds or suddenly slows down (I also have a G502). It happens sporadically, but it's very annoying and clearly unusable for me.
