For me, this processor has a bit of a bad reputation, completely unnecessarily. I use it myself for gaming and normal work in a board with A520 chipset and RTX2070 graphics and I have no problem with performance, stability or temperature, I'm surprised that the temperature is usually below 60°C (but I don't have a boxed cooler, I have a proper cooler with a 12cm fan on the CPU). This processor definitely has enough power to run the RTX2070 graphics, and any extra cost for a better processor probably wouldn't make any difference in performance.

In conjunction with the gpu 3060ti (gpu loaded to 100%) the cpu is at 2k max when playing (Hunt Showdown). details at about 50% utilization. So reserve for a more powerful chart. cards for the future: )

I was a little worried about the temperatures based on reviews and posts from Alza experts and other experts from other stores. In the end I decided to try the stock cooler and if it wasn't enough I'll buy a better one. Before I had a ryzen 3 1200, here is the same cooler, so I decided to use this one that I had in my pc for about 2 years. I cleaned it up, re-pasted it and installed it with a ryzen 5 5500 in a crate. After 20 minutes of cpu stress test I have a stable temperature of 59°C. So perfectly sufficient and I have one new stock cooler in reserve. I don't know why some have such high temperatures, maybe bad assembly, badly cooled box, defective piece?. I have a relatively large glass box that has vents with dust filters on the front and top. I have one stock fan in the back that was by the box, it blows air out. In the front I have 3 more slots for fans which I have unseated. All temperatures are great. Ryzen 5 5500 + gtx 1650 + 16GB ram + ssd. Hopefully the information will help someone and they won't buy a cooler unnecessarily.

In my opinion, the processor is excellent for the price. It handles the latest games very smoothly. And even on the basic 3.8GHz. I haven' t managed to overclock yet because the temperature was rising dangerously, the cooling needs to be solved first. The included cooler does just fine. During load, the temperature is 80-90
