Still significantly larger than the 2nd generation. The smaller case may be super eco friendly, it uses less plastic, but the individual headphones are hard to pull out and there is a much higher risk of dropping the headphones. Automatic muting during a conversation is probably fine, but I'm a bit afraid of using it in an open space where a million people are talking.
I'm playing nice, just like I used to.
ANC is very nice
They are very difficult to remove from the case.

After switching from AirPods 3 to the new fourth generation, I'm pleasantly surprised. The main reason I've stuck with the **peeps** is their comfort - earbuds have never fit me well, and the AirPods 4 are great in that regard. Compared to the third generation, the difference is noticeable - ambient noise disappears instantly and you can concentrate better on music or calls. And the sound? Clean highs, good bass, overall balanced sound, which I appreciate when listening to podcasts and music. The battery life didn't disappoint me either. Even with ANC, it lasts about 6 hours and with the charging case, it's no problem to reach up to 30 hours, which for me is ideal for travel. The switch from AirPods 3 has paid off. The pecks continue to suit me and the noise cancellation is a big step forward.
