My experience is that when I used external power supply to the Hub, the PC fans were spinning and some LEDs on the motherboard were lit, even when I disconnected the 220V power cable from the power supply, only after disconnecting the Hub everything turned off, even the power supply light was lit. Unfortunately for the motherboard it was too late, however, it explained why the motherboard in Dell also crashed. Score Axagon vs. HP motherboard, Dell Latitude 2:0
Looks nice.
Cheap design
With external power supply a big risk of backfeed / letting current back into the USB port
1x Dell Latitude and 1x HP motherboard destroyed by this hub

Info for those who want it on the wall. The back cover is not glued or has any locks. It fell off when I drilled holes in it. So I screwed the back cover to the wall and screwed the top to it. There is about 0.5cm of space between the plastic of the back cover and the electronics plate, so plenty of room for the screw head.
Functional
The manufacturer could have done without the LED.
