When choosing a scale, I was guided by the results from dTest magazine and the Beurer brand came out very well. I am very happy with the scale - it records weight in kg, BMI index, % fat, % muscle, % bone and % water and shows basal metabolism at rest and during exercise. Three AAA batteries are included, so the scale is ready to use right away. I use an iPhone and I downloaded the Beurer HealthManager app, which communicates with the scale absolutely seamlessly. The display is very easy to read (black with white numbers).

It measures fat poorly - it measures poorly almost all scales with contact only on the feet.

Looks good and weighs accurately.
(All tested with four different Android devices in different versions):
Pairing with the Android app needs to be done differently than the manual states.
You can't edit other users' details in the Android app (they all have the same birth date, gender, etc. ).
Although the scale recognises the user and is connected to the phone (green dot in the app and BT symbol on the scale display), the measurement will not be transferred.
The app doesn't speak Czech very well.
Because without creating a user and connecting to the app, the scale shows nothing more than weight, and because the app is very unreliable, the higher price compared to scales without a connection is unjustified.

I can't get the functions measuring fat, water etc to work, the scale only shows weight, nothing more. I downloaded the app to my phone, entered the required data, connected the phone to the scale via bluetooth, but still something doesn't work, when I stand on the scale, it only weighs me, the other data is not displayed.

High-quality software. More doesn't work than works. Unreliable manufacturer's website, without which the scale cannot be put into operation. The app works only on iPhone with English settings, with Czech settings it doesn't work at all. Thanks to the crappy app, the scale is practically useless and good for returns.

The scale weighs inaccurately on a not completely flat surface, absolutely unusable on carpet.
In order to use the scale for measurements other than weighing, you need to set it up using the App.
Requires IOS 7+, Android 4.1+
I returned the scale and bought an OMRON BF-511, without the app but it weighs well on the carpet: )
