When you replace the horrible plastic extruder with a metal one (a couple hundred) and don't get a downright dud, it's a great printer and a reliable workhorse that's basically tuned for slow but quality printing. Wide range of upgrades and enhancements.

Ideal for a beginner, overall I'm happy except for the noise, but this can be solved by replacing the motherboard. This printer is an example of the saying "A lot of music for not much money. " Otherwise, after a few upgrades, it prints solidly (I bought it in August '22 when it cost 3k, so I upgraded it with parts from other manufacturers.
