I was looking for a PC speaker for the office and I didn't want a PC dedicated speaker, because of space and also the quality of music reproduction is uncertain. The reviews on Alza didn't lie; -) The speaker is just big enough and the sound. I almost fell off my chair. They can handle pop and rock just fine, especially my favorite Dire Straits just tinkling. Unbelievable for such little guys. The package includes everything you need to connect to your PC within two minutes of playing. The only small disadvantage is the volume control, if the rotary knob does not click, the volume fluctuates, but you get used to it. I click and then I adjust the volume in the player with the mouse.

After studying all sorts of reviews and comparing them with the Presonus Eris E3.5, I decided on the MR4. I got them as a replacement for the Creative A300 (2.1 for a couple of hundred), which I had for over 10 years but recently started to experience various interferences which were quite annoying. Since I am not an audiophile, I cannot fully compare or appreciate the quality of the speakers, however, on first listen I got the same feeling as from the mentioned Creative, with the difference that they had strong bass thanks to the subwoofer. I guess that the main problem will be with the sound source, which I have directly from the integrated sound system in the PC, if the sound system was external, probably the expected wow effect would come.

I purchased the speakers as a replacement for the Creative T20s I've had since their launch and lately they have been increasingly grunting when turned on and it took sometimes tens of minutes for these sounds to settle down. Use as a pc speaker, so gaming, movies and youtube. I believe that they will fulfil their purpose to my satisfaction for a long time.

I was choosing speakers for my PC. I was deciding between this and the Edifier R1280DBs. I chose these for more practical control, smaller size and a more pleasant sound. They are also more suitable for PC (headphone output, front control). Compared to the R1280DBS, the MR4s have a more balanced sound across the frequencies, while the R1280DBs are built stronger towards the Bass. So for all the above reasons I went with the MR4 and I have no regrets at all, they are great and exceeded my expectations.
Balanced sound (Enable accurate sound reproduction)
Bass/Treble adjustment by +- 6dB at the rear. It works really well, everyone has their own settings.
Practical: Volume/power/headphone output in front
For its size/price, the best in the price range
PC-friendly design.
The bass is accurate, accurate and does not distort. Subjectively, they are also quite deep and strong. At the same time, they can also be lowered very well with a button at the back.
Suitable for both music and movies, dialogues are heard well.
Absolutely no fizz even with my ear to the box.

They play very decently and loudly. Better than Creative' s crates. The deepest bass is missing, but with the size I was looking for, deeper bass cannot be found. I only have frequencies below 50Hz on studio large M-audio bx8 boxes. I also chose according to consumption, which these have OK, compared to the M-Audio bx5 d3. The difference between studio clean and “enhanced“ is barely audible, so I don' t use it. If you disconnect them from the socket when they are switched on, they are switched off after connecting - I have the entire PC and accessories connected to one surge protector, which I switch off at night, so after switching everything on, I have to switch these boxes on again. So for me, satisfaction.

I use it for music, I' m terribly demanding on sound, music is my hobby, I played with the equalizer for 10 minutes, and what I got out of it is something unreal, I' m not afraid to say that you won' t get anything better in 300 euros!
