you won't find anything better in this price range! I've been buying them regularly for 10 years, in the meantime I've tried other and also considerably more expensive ones ( 30-40 écs, e.g. also from SONY, ) and neither were hooked on the sound of these headphones. The bass is balanced just right in my opinion, the microphone works without problems.

after some time, the volume control gradually goes away, but with daily use I am not surprised. Other brands were malfunctioning significantly earlier.
also the leatherette on the headphones peels off over time and the ears sweat through the leatherette in the summer months, but for the money there is nothing to complain about.
some write about the pressure on the ears. I deal with this by bending them to the opposite side, but more carefully on multiple occasions until they are comfortable on my ears. Then they stay that way and even when they wear out over time, they can be loose and that's when I choose the opposite bend.
