If you don't care about the thickness of the slices or if you're more likely to slice softer foods, this is the slicer for you.
The set thickness doesn't hold. When slicing thin slices, such as salami, the panel moves slightly under pressure and the thickness increases.
It also depends on the pressure of your hand how thin or thick you slice.
