small, compact, easy to use frame
SATA - USB-C adapter can be removed and used separately without the frame
the plastic frame could cause the disc to heat up as there is no heat dissipation. But this can be said of absolutely any HDD frame, so it cannot be taken as a disadvantage of this particular device.
the reducer cannot be operated with a 3.5" HDD probably due to insufficient power supply
