Headphones are not for audiophiles and should be approached from that perspective. The acoustic transducers of this design have a characteristic presentation and practically as open they do not filter out sounds from the surroundings, which may suit some people and not others and should be taken into account. For normal listening to music from mp3 they are absolutely sufficient. The difference in acoustic transmission between the previous and the new type is not imperceptible, they may sound a bit quieter, which may be due to the different HW used in the electronics used in them. The pairing is seamless. The control buttons take a while to find on the body of the handset and "count top-mid-bottom" and get used to them. It seems to me that the +/- volume works a bit with a longer response time, I press, nothing happens for a while and then the command is executed +/- volume. The head bridge is functionally double and its adjustment requires practice. The shift is pretty stiff. It was simpler with the previous version with a single. Using a flat USB 3 mini socket to connect the audio input cable I consider a clever solution.
