He grabs and doesn't let go: -). My son (almost 6 years old) has long ago fallen into a mania for Legos, he currently prefers those with a minecraft theme (he doesn't play on PC at all yet, but sometimes watches videos on youtube, there he met it).
He has several of these "minecraft" kits, combines them in different ways, and enjoys it immensely.
Otherwise, I think the combination of minecraft and lego is brilliant. It's also an interesting way to pull kids away from the PC/youtube and into the real world.
Just all the positives, I recommend it!
