Cheap good media
Percentage wise, there are always a few pieces defective from the factory and some older or DVD laptop drives have trouble reading, especially if they have been suppressed as well. In the car, these media tend to last very shortly due to the heat and the paint starts to flake off. I don't want to know what it does inside the drive, it certainly doesn't do it any good.
