I have tried many apps and although the diagnostics at the dealership clearly read the fault codes and the check engine light came on, absolutely nothing could be read through this adapter.

The connection to the iPhone didn't work the first time, but it was enough to take out and put the unit back in the connector and everything worked without a problem. I used the free software Car Scanner, it read the error without any problem and after solving the problem it deleted it (in my case the orange airbag light went out).

It' s a nice toy when it works
The Samsung Galaxy J6 connected just fine, it just takes a little patience. It' s quite slow.
If it doesn' t work, it' s a waste of money.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 can see WiFi but won' t connect. They are probably not completely compatible with each other.
