fast 33W charging with battery overcharge protection function. If you charge at night and you have e.g. an alarm set for the morning - charging at 80% (supposedly - I have not checked: )))) interrupts and finishes just before the alarm rings.
unreliable fingerprint reader in the display (on my previous moto g6 plus it was in the form of a "button" under the display and worked much more reliably)
a very loud speaker constantly forces you to tinker with the volume, so you can't hear the phone again because you've turned it down too much before, etc. The unexpected ringing of a shaved ringtone in the immediate vicinity is a truly cardio experience
I encountered a rare case where the phone inexplicably kept disconnecting (and reconnecting) from the WiFi network. I'm not a complete computer nerd, but I couldn't figure this one out.
The previous moto g6 plus animated the weather on motorola's clock widget. It's rubbish, but it looked really great, even, I'd say, gave the impression that you had a much better display than you actually have. Why isn't that already the case with this more modern, more expensive and more powerful phone?

The main module is supposed to have OIS, but it is missing in the camera settings, how does it even work? In "pro" mode, it produces terribly blurry and out-of-focus photos even in daylight. The sensor will be fine, the "RAW" (DNG) can be processed by computer to produce solid outputs. I really can't understand postprocessing set up like that. The old G8plus shoots a level better and it was half the price three years ago. The mobile, as such, is awesome, but the cameras are killing it. If you want to take pictures, look elsewhere. I'm comparing it to the Samsung A52, completely a level away. I don't know if it's just a problem with this piece, but a big disappointment for me.
