I bought the Nothing Ear (3) as a replacement for my Sony LinkBuds S, as a secondary headphone for the office. Compared to the featured Sony, it is an upgrade on every front - better ANC, sound, apps, processing quality, battery life, controls. The only thing where I preferred the Sony was the comfort of the silicone earbuds, which fit my ear better, so they offered a better seal as well. But generally speaking, I'm pretty comfortable with the Nothing Ear (3). In the base, the headphones have a V-shape sound description (=amplified bass and treble), but in the app they offer EQ, so you can tune them to your own preferences. Plus, they allow you to import other people's EQs via QR (I recommend downloading the EQ from DMS, who did a review as part of the ShortCircuit video). After adjustment, the headphones sound great to me. If I compare them to the Airpods Pro 3, they offer both a slightly worse seal (the hybrid earbuds Apple offers are just great) and worse comfort. Airpods also have, in my opinion, noticeably better ANC. However, the Nothing Ear (3) offer EQ, better sound and are 2k cheaper. If ANC is important to you, then Airpods, if not, I recommend these.

Yes, if you're looking for ANC, you'll find a better one at this price. If you're looking for durability, again, you'll find better at this price. This is how it is with the vast majority of the features of these headphones. But if you're looking for everything in the mix, a complete enjoyment experience, you'll be hard pressed to find anything better at this price.
