It does not report an error on the Passat B8 and does not require additional accessories for installation. Under good conditions it actually shines perfectly almost like the original led technology. In the deste, the intensity is about halfway between halogen and led.

unfortunately the compatibility list of Osram is not 100%, I had listed the mandatory only adapter and canbus error unit. Only during installation I found out that I also need new caps for the lights (deeper, the LED is much longer than the classic H7 with cable) - Opel Astra J
due to the canbus unit I used, I needlessly drilled through the original light caps, which was unnecessary as I had to buy a deeper one.

In Octavia 3 before facelift (5E) and headlights E1 3340 (you can see the yellow label directly on the headlight) no error is reported. There is no need to buy a ballast resistor or new caps. Installation is therefore very simple and you are done in two minutes. For other cars, I recommend visiting the manufacturer's website, where it lists exactly what cars are approved and what accessories are needed for them, so you won't be caught off guard.
