my mice are catching - I'm changing my mind about mechanical traps after XY years! And I'm stopping using the red poison pillows. Let's see how it turns out!
I guess it takes finding the optimum bait, like a speck.
for an idea - I now catch 5 mice a day in a trap. The corpses are immediately out of the house for compost. I didn't catch any mice for the next three days. They probably feel it - and they go elsewhere.
The traps picked up the mice I knew were there - and didn't find any more. So OK for me!
he's tapping me on the fingers; it takes work to set it up properly - but that's a matter of practice.
some of the traps are more accommodating, some of the traps fail with any movement; it's the mechanics that can be fixed with the palm of your hand - so practice.
