It cuts perfectly through one sheet of 300 g cardboard or up to three sheets of 80 g paper.
With a larger number of sheets of 80 g paper (4 to 10), the cut edge is not completely smooth. My biggest disappointment was that I couldn't always keep the angle right. I don't know if it's my clumsiness or the imperfection of the cutter, but it's true.
