I appreciate the option to set it to turn off the whole household when I long press the button and I don't have to pull the phone in my hand. In addition, I can program how the light will behave when switched on. An "unlimited" number of lights can be paired to the controller from different rooms, but only these lights can be controlled. It is not possible to control one group of lights with the on/off button and another with the Hue button. Fortunately, the Hue Tap Dial Switch is the way to do it.
