I've had this belt for a few months now. It's working fine. Allows for spectacular lighting of the space. But I miss the wider variety of effects that would have given it another level. just like I miss being able to set multiple color sections. Overall, however, I rate the tape rather positively

Quite a luxury LED strip for a relatively high price, but at least the fact that the brand should not start flashing a random number of diodes in a few weeks is quite an advantage, so the price can probably be justified. Moreover, the connection to the smart home via the rather elegant Philips Hue system is fine, the idea of that Chinese remote control with 30 buttons each of a different colour scares me.

I expect a longer period of use for the lights. It is not possible to purchase replacement parts for Philips Hue interior. I.e. after the warranty expires, you have no chance to get, for example, the original ac/dc adapter if it goes away. So then there is no choice but to tinker, buy in China, or throw away the functional thing.
