The machine can not be used simultaneously with charging, or when it is plugged in the charger and you turn on the shaving, it does not charge and only shaves.
At the same time, it has no battery indicator, so you will inevitably have a situation where it runs out of power halfway through the shave and you are unlucky, because charging to full takes about 16 hours and the battery life is then 80 minutes.
