Unfortunately, it does not work when connecting a small Airbook (11'') with a Samsung S24D391 external monitor or Samsung TV. When trying to connect the larger Airbook (13'') to the NEC monitor (27'') the cable worked.
A smaller Airbook probably won't "pull" this cable.
Hopefully the 1m cable will solve that.
