Allows direct connection of the bare disk to the computer.
Good speed, in my case around 100MB/sec.
To some the usb cable seems stiff, but it must be, it's usb 3.0
Intermittent operation may occur, in my case it was an unplugged power lead connection.
The socket does not have a locking mechanism, so it slips out easily while running. Need to lean appropriately.
