The keyboard is good (excellent considering the price). It has a few minor flaws. The "lock" indicators are bright, sharp, blue (cannot be set or turned off), quite distracting. I solved this by running a black marker over them - they shine through with a subtle blue glow - a trifle for the price. More backlighting crawls between the keys than through them, but for the price, again, a trifle. The backlighting is best even when one looks almost perpendicularly from above. Maybe that's how someone sits, I'm used to looking from 45-60°. But it's nothing that would matter much, for the price, a trifle. After disconnecting or resetting the bios, the settings are lost - but I do this once a year (the bios must have the USB power on even when the machine is switched off). It takes about 3 seconds to revert back to my preferred yellow constant backlight (1x FN+4 = constant backlight, FN+down for color selection). For the price, a pittance.

So if you can get by without the "file explorer" button, fix the exclamation point on the colon with a marker, and don't have frequent power outages, it's still a good choice at around 400.
