Very weak output signal: Although you can read everywhere on the internet that this microphone is compatible with Canon EOS 600D (which is true), it is completely unusable. The output signal is so weak that you have to set the gain on the SLR to high, and the result is a very, very small signal-to-noise ratio (in fact, the recording is about as loud as the noise). For devices with a good preamplifier great, but for SLR cameras probably be careful and definitely don't take it with the 600D.
